Frequently Asked questions

Review the frequently asked questions below. If you don't see an question or answer you are looking for, go ahead and use the form at the top of this page and we'll get back with you!

What makes us different?

The simple answer: quality and knowledge. Athletes are often re-injured because there is a gap between traditional rehab and returning to sport. Our staff have knowledge in both the physical therapy and strength and conditioning worlds. This creates an environment where the two worlds combine to form an unmatched atmosphere for high-level performance rehab as well as training. Who better to be able to bridge the gap than individuals who are proficient in both areas?

What services do you provide?

We provide performance training services such as return to sport programs, ACL programs, off-season training programs, as well as personal wellness training/fitness. We also provide physical therapy services for people who want a more personalized and tailored experience to more active individuals and athletes preventing or recovering from injury.

What does your ACL program include?

Our return to sport programs are what we specialize in. Whether it is our ACL bridge program or ACL full recovery program, you can be confident that you are getting the highest quality care. We use evidence and current best practices to design our program and use our knowledge in sport and strength and conditioning to get an athlete back better than their pre-injury level. This includes formal strength, jump and Force Plate assessments. Unless specially requested, all programs include 1-on-1 sessions twice a week focused on strength, power, speed, and sport specific exercises.

Why do I have to pay cash when I have health insurance?

We believe rehab should be available for everyone. One of the problems of healthcare has been patients being required to do other physician visits for referrals before starting therapy costing more money. Direct access takes that out of the equation and allows you to see a physical therapist without a physician referral. Secondly, unless you have met your entire deductible, going to physical therapy at an insurance based clinic will cost the same or more than our up front costs. Co-pays range from $20-$70 per visit and typical bills from a standard corporate physical therapy company will be upwards of $3000 and even more. You may also get a bill after your therapy is over for the amount insurance did not cover. With Rehab For Performance, you know what you will pay up front, no surprise bill 3 months later.

How do I use my HSA to pay for performance based rehab services?

Physical therapy is covered under services that you can use your HSA for. We will provide you with all the information that you need in order to use your HSA to pay for services or even to inquire about getting reimbursed by your insurance company for your physical therapy treatment.
